LOGOS

A sampling of logos I have developed recently. A few, like Photovoice and YVPRC, have stand-alone pages with details about the scope, and other elements, of the project.

Flavors of Newburgh Block Party

Agency: Renaissance Creative
Role: Art Director
 

Assignment: Bring to life a logo and clothing designs for a small music and caribbean food inspired festival.

Solution: I chose bright red and blue as the primary colors, representing the ocean and coral of the Caribbean, combined with a microphone, fork and flames icon symbolizing the DJ provided music and great food. Finally a chunky font was chosen that could be easily read from a distance on clothing or banners.

BRIDGEPOINTE CONDOMINIUMS

Assignment: Redesign existing, heavy, logo and replace it with a lighter, more graceful one that better matched the style of the property, and provide a matching stationary package.

Solution: The arch of the bridge that leads into property is represented by a simple curved stroke and two smaller strokes at the top define the upper walls. Cattails were incorporated since they feature prominently around the lake and on decorative tiles throughout the property and finally, an elegant serif font was chosen for the name.

ON DISPLAY

Assignment: Create a logo and identity system that represents the technical solutions, point of purchase displays and printing services On Display is known for.

Solution: Include the power symbol with a glow to play with the “on” in On Display and pair with a bright orange to make those graphic elements pop.
