Assignment: Create a poster campaign, showcasing the many positive qualities St. Francis offers it’s students, that would work in conjunction with a newly created direct mail campaign.
Solution: After several years of keeping the St. Francis creative clean and flat, I wanted to push the brand in a direction that would have a stronger appeal to high school students. Because the list of qualities the students had to be included in the pieces, and the initial direct mail cards were 4” x 6”, I decided to use it as a texture running throughout everything on the front. The students’ photos were processed to look like halftones and layered in between other elements, like the circle and quotation marks from their logo, to achieve the final look.
